To put this in persepctive I have just cleared security in MIA (reputedly one of the most awful airports in the world) for an AA international flight. Security took 2 minutes. Had I had to go through with the proles,rather than fast track (NB entitlement to use this clearly stamped on my BP), it might have taken 4 minutes !!

The reason for all this: dozens and dozens of staff, all of whom seem dedicated to actually keeping things moving ! I was positively yelled at to get my bag off the conveyor after the scanner ... Its a sad day when one has to compare anything unfavourably with the TSA.
