Hi,

I received my 'upgraded' Titanium card about 3 weeks ago but when I tried to use it after activation it declined. When I called they told me that my Titanium card had a different number to the one I had. After some debate as to the number on the card in my hand they made changes to try and get it work. After these changes the card didn't even register in a chip & pin machine as a valid card. (It would not even allow a pin number to be entered)

They sent me out another card (with a different number that was 1 digit higher than the number they thought my card was) which also declined after activation. When I called up they told me it wasn't activated but after 'activating' it again it too stopped working in chip & pin machines.

The following Monday another card arrived (dated before I complained about the 2nd card) which was exactly the same as the 2nd card (374xxx number, security code) other than the last three digits printed on the back. When I tried to activate this they had no idea what it was for but promised it would work.

I managed to use this card once and ever since then it too refuses to work in any chip and pin machine. My old plastic AC card works perfectly so it definitely isn't my account.

I'm fed up with this supposed 'upgrade' that cost me 3x as much but doesn't allow me to use the card. Especially because nobody has bothered to call me back on any but one of the occasions that I have called for help.

Has anyone else had a problem like this?
