True, the simpler solution would be to restrict entry at the South area to those holding F/J/C BPs. Still do a FastTrack lane in the North security area, but open this to BA silvers / golds and OW equivalents. If only someone at BA and BAA had the imagination
Oh lovely, just what we want every day, a row about which fast track is the real fast track!! The problem with North is that there are several times in the day when it is closed totally to direct customers to allow the connection traffic to keep moving. It is a real case of watch this space, and the builders are going to re lay parts of the security areas to increase their size. Apparently BAA have a substantial budget to do this and also to make some changes in T5B, I am hoping that this goes ahead soon.
