Interesting to hear people recommending the Towers side. I actually prefer the 'old' side. Maybe it's because I know some of the staff in the lounge over there really well after more than 30 stays and always get very well looked after. They have upgraded me to big suites in the Towers side a couple of times, but I won't move. I also know someone who is looking to book a lot of rooms for an event next year and they have requested the old side rooms and lounge. I do agree that the Towers lounge is very nice though.

They are pretty desperate to get people over to the towers as that block was apartments a few years ago and they kicked the residents out to make this new facility. It's fair to say they haven't been as successful as they had hoped, and although they got unlucky with the timing, the rates they still quote - along with other properties in Saigon as GB points out - are just too high for the market.
