I live just a few blocks from Castro Street, so I'll be there. The funny thing is that my house will be empty by the time I make it over for the DO. I'm moving to RDU and the movers are supposed to finish on Friday afternoon. I might stick around for a few days or even a week after that, but my partner is coming out from RDU and flying right back again so we can move the last two of our cats.

GrizShel, you do know that San Mateo is nowhere near Mountain View, right? But, we do appreciate you coming down to our town. Castro Street is still a happening place on Friday nights, even during the recession.

I don't know what you're in the mood for but I would love to hit up the Tapas place again on the corner of Castro and California. There is a relatively new Korean BBQ place across from city hall. There's also a pretty good Chinese restaurant down by the train station. I can make other suggestions if these aren't appealing.
