Very true. I think it's like a 19" seat width in Y+ compared to 17.2" or so in Y. Also Y+ has a leg rest and a larger PTV screen. On the US-BKK flights Y+ also has a bit nicer meal presentation...with some linens and random other things.
The old C does have more legroom by a few inches though. There are PTVs but I'm not sure if it's AVOD. Is it?
You misinterpreted my post. I was responding to the previous post by Splite:

I was disagreeing with the assessment that Premium Economy on the Thai A340-500 is
only about more legroom. There is much more to it, as I noted in my post. I think it is a very desirable alternative to economy, especially for flights of long duration. I always choose PE when flying to/from the USA.
