I would be hard pressed to move someone else's belongings in such a manner as you describe. The only scenario I could see myself doing that in would be if the lounge was incredibly crowded and I was incredibly frustrated.

That said, I don't think you were being snobby at all. I would honestly be more upset that someone touched my stuff than losing my seat(s).

I must say that I love folks who always think they're the only ones in world and no one else matters. He probably cut in front of everyone on the red carpet with his kids in tow too.
