If you are at all in the market for a second GPS unit, or spare, Amazon has a really great price right now on the Garmin Nuvi 270. No sales tax; free shipping.

This small, portable unit has maps for all of North America--and all of Europe! It's a great unit, I bought one a couple months ago after my old trusty Garmin 2610 was stolen (the price is even lower now). It was originally a pretty expensive unit I think; it might be discontinued.

It doesn't have the latest techno-gadgety options like bluetooth or text-to-speech, but it does the job. It does have some funky features like a photo viewer (it has an SD card slot for spare data) and currency converter. I like having a portable unit with Europe maps. And it's not much more than buying extra map data; also it's nice to have a spare.

Note: I did not think that this unit had coverage of Hawaii and Puerto Rico, but according to the chart in this description of the Nuvi 200, the 270 model does include continental US, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Europe!
