We've (my wife and I - does that still count?) been in the same boat in TXL and DUS too. I've also been the only person in the PP lounges in both LGW S (the US Airways one, about 3 years ago) and in LGW N (Delta or Contintental - always get them confused) a couple of times.

My very first lounge experience back in 2002 - the old location of the Aviance lounge in LGW N (past WH Smiths then hang a sharp left, turning back on yourself - poss called the "Alexandria Suite") - the guy actually kept the lounge open just for the 2 of us for a heavily delayed LGW-DUS flight (those were the days - BA from LGW to Germany!!!!).
