I stayed this week at a Hampton Inn and noticed that when I was signing the check-in form that the space for HHonors number was on there. I asked if they were taking numbers now or just getting ready for next week.

The clerk said they were accepting numbers now so I had her add it and it showed up on my receipt the next morning...guess the question now is whether the credit will show up on my account..
