I made a reservation at the Pittsburgh Doubletree via the internet about a month ago. Knowing that the HHonors expansion announcement was imminent, I put my HHonors Gold VIP number in the comments field.

Yesterday, I called Doubletree reservations to have my number properly placed in the reservation. The agent I spoke with said that they will be unable to put HHonors numbers in reservations until the new program kicks in "on April 10th."

Aside from the agent having the date wrong, I am simply amazed that their computers have not yet been updated, and I wonder how difficult it will be to earn credit at "new" HHonors properties in the days and weeks after April 3.
