Mid March this year was still quite glorious weather wise and generally speaking is still in summer albeit the end. So still a good time to be here and visit a beach or two or three..........................................or 200
Best beach months for Sydney are December January and February(Summer)
For Cairns however, or Queensland, in general its MUCH warmer at that time of year, almost uncomfortable beach weather.
