I got a call from Hilton last night
I got a call from Hilton last night. It was, of course, during dinner. And I assumed they wanted to give me a credit card or something. But it turned out it was a phone survey!
They wanted to know about my stay at the Ybor Hilton in Tampa. There were a series of questions rating the hotel and the service there on a scale of 1-7.
Then they asked me if I had problems. Did I have problems????? Coincidently earlier yesterday I faxed Hhonors my folio because they only credited me for one night (I stayed for 2) and had given me no double dip airline miles. And the airport shuttle bus was not there when I needed it in the morning even though I had called the night before to confirm it. And it was a "business express" hotel with no room service and no upgraded rooms.
I gave the hotel low marks overall.
I'm guessing they're checking on the hotel because it is fairly new, but I always appreciate it when a company calls to check up on their customer service. I was glad to be asked and glad to do it. I hope it makes a difference!
