You'll probably be op'd up.

I think AC way overbooks these flights because of the risk of travel consolidators not filling their reserved seats (which is that swath of empty ones you are seeing in the middle/rear). If it is actually showing 0 for all Y classes, my guess is that they are seriously overbooked.

I was 3-for-4 for op-ups in S class (before it was even upgradeable) on my Japan flights (KIX) last year in April/May.
