And with regards to the MEM service, this is something NW wanted to do 3 years ago. They had intended on purchasing Legend's old terminal, but it was slated to be torn down as part of the Wright Amendment Compromise and there were no other gates to be had. Now that AA is leaving DAL, there is available gate space and DL/NW is now doing what NW wanted to do back then.

I believe DL is subleasing those gates from AA.
