These do not seem to bad to me

A few years back I was staying at the Venetian in Las Vegas. Their policy at the time was a minimum $5,000 for a stay of about 1 week. Well the clerk did not know what they were doing and they thought the charge did not go through. On the 5Th time swiping the card they then told me quite loudly that my card was denied. I was very surprised and concerned by this since I thought my balance going into this was near 0. I used a different card and the help 5K on that one. But they were still as it turns out denying me signing privileges go figure. When I got to my room I called the credit card company and it showed that the transaction went through each time, so they actually had a 20K hold on that card besides the 5K on the other.
It was a real pain getting them to release the 20k hold they were actually arguing with the credit card company, yes I still had them on the phone when I went back to the front desk. When I asked for a apology they did not want to give me one, instead they offered a comp, I informed them that I really just wanted a apology. Instead the raised the comp they offered, I took it and told them I would consider this my apology. So instead of saying sorry Mr. C. it wont happen again I $200 to use in the restaurants.
