I regularly fly from Barbados to London for long weekends. BA.com fares for a 3 night stay are always well over double the fare for 4+ nights in all cabin classes. While I understand why midweek short duration flights might attract a premium fare as they are more likely to be a business trip, this surely doesn't apply for someone flying BGI-LGW overnight on a Friday, returning on a Monday. Is there any way around this policy which I'm missing or will I have to continue flying the long way round with AA where weekend returns carry no premium?
