why not route it through LHR? you can take a BA or QF flight to BKK/SIN
or HEL to BKK/HKG on AY...

Plus the travel time is probably similar to SIN via Europe

From Boston it is actually shorter if you get the BOS-LHR-SIN to work in terms of connections!
