You could also try the direct LH flight from MIA-FRA. You wouldn't be able to confirm the upgrade, but could take a chance using a paper SWU at the airport.
I'd ordinarily advise the same, but with DEQM and a trip when that's still going, the longest possible upgradable route would be my choice unless requal is in the bag and you're not shooting for extra SWUs.
