Good question and on reflection, I should have done just that. I am not confrontational at all but now that I look at it, I wouldn't have had to deal with the offenders, only the staff. Next time (please not!), I would call immediately.

However, the main point was that I DID bring it to the attention of the front desk and they obviously chose to do nothing about it. This in inexcusable in my mind.
