I just knew it would happen.....

One week after receiving the worthless piece of titanium I shoved the card into the Train ticket machine forgetting it's the one that swallows the card before spitting it back out (as opposed to the manual insert and retrieve effort)

After a bit of whirring and wheezing, machine decides it is broken and after summoning machine attendant, she also agrees that the card is stuck and it's not coming out (+engineer will take 4 hours to arrive to open sealed unit)

Well done Amex!! It was obvious to me what would happen, and now, a week after receiving the useless metal card, I have to wait another week for a replacement along with the hassles of changing all my numbers all over again.
