...you can't book the itinerary online. ^

I just found this out a few minutes ago because I am booking international award travel on *A airlines using my DM. The telephone agent informed me that, as of this week, US is no longer charging the $40 booking fee if you call to make a reservation as long as you can't book the same trip online. This fee waiver will also apply to redeeming companion certs and the like.

If anyone can confirm, that would be great.
