You do not have to go though customs and/or immigration (or enter the UK) when connecting flights at Heathrow, even between different terminals.

However you do have to go though a security check again.

60 minutes is a very short connection time to allow between international flights at Heathrow though!

You may well make it, but you stand a significant risk of missing your second flight if you get any delays with your first flight, or with security.
