Welcome to FlyerTalk

,
As
Cupart and
NightFly, I believe you should make your connection. You just need to keep in mind a few things :
- as mentioned, if you are arriving on a small regional aircraft, such as the ones used out of LCY, you will be bussed upon arrival in CDG to the terminal; this can add 15mn to your transfer time
- 2E has two boarding piers, the main one (gates E28 to E47) and satellite S3 (gates E51 to E76); if you arrive in one and leave from the other, you need to add 10mn to your transfer time using the LISA automated shuttle train (the train ride takes 45s and there are shuttles every 2mn, the additional time required is for walking to and from the shuttle train)
- you need to clear security in the boarding pier for your flight to JFK; as mentioned, if you have status (Elite or Elite Plus) with a SkyTeam carrier or are flying in the premium cabins for your flight to JFK, you can use the "Acces n°1" fast track lane
- I personally have had no problem with security staff in 2E. As long as you make eye contact with them and say "Hello" or "Bonjour", it should be ok. On the other hand, it's been some time since I have had to go through the security process for the US.
Enjoy your flights
