amex france has blocked many card in the begining of april, due do your high spending.
without any reson all card will remain blocked until you send money to redu ce your billing period. (I paid it in full in advance)

In france we don't have credit line like in usa, there no imit to spend on your card but ou have to pay the full amount 3 days after your statement directly took on your bank account.

now if you want your card unblocked they asking you to send a special form at your bank to garantee a deposit in advance in favor of amex france.
all fees and charge for this guarantee will be for you, no refund by amex, and you have to pay your membership centurion 2000 eur a year.


otherwise they will asking you to send payment in advance and when you reached 0,00 you card will blocked again until they received another advance payment.
this is valid for all types of card including centurion members, plat and air france gold.

it's due to new rules pf risk department.

very bad bussiness , and 250 employees will lose their job in amex france in 2009.
