It wasn't specifically advertised as a "Gold Card Event", but about this time last year I got an invite (only open to Gold Card holders who received the email), to win a pair of free tickets to the "Taste of Leeds" event they were a sponsor of. There were 5 pairs of tickets and I won one of the pairs. From memory they were worth about £20 each (ie that was the regular gate price). Had to pay for ones own "tastes" though. That's my only sniff of a GCE, but I've only been G for 2 years, and I do have the disadvantage of living "up north" .
