I was invited to this, but by the time I received the invitation - i.e. when I got home from wherever I was travelling a day later - and responded immediately in the affirmative, I was politely told it was full... I realise I might have been on the reserve, reserve, second back-up list, but sending a paper invitation to an event 5 days later, and then overbooking it, seems a bit naff

So, in a word, no, 12 years of loyalty to bmi, 6 of which as a Gold, and no evidence of any Gold Card events

(...although I won a free BD flight from LHR-OSL about 10 years ago - does that count?!)
