Emailing avis = huge waste of time
They have no sense of care or urgency at all and could care less what you have to say. When they do respond they dont read the email or look into matters. They just send back lame vague answers.
I'm fortunate enough to have access to a corp account manager; he's pretty responsive, and has quickly fixed some things that could easily have been a PITA.

4-5 free weekends per year is a lot better than a kick in the teeth. It's a darn site more than Hertz ever gave me (1 free day per year if I was lucky).
