Hello. New Person here. I've flown the suite a couple of times and the seat itself is somewhat like the BA First seat but angled toward the cabin. The bed is a good design and very comfortable. The only drawback is craning your neck around to look out the window and the fact that the suite flights tend to be fully booked, so staff are mildly frantic attending to everyone, converting the seats into beds etc. Also the tray table is badly conceived and overly bulky and made of cheap-ish materials and the drinks table were all more or less broken (or angled precariously downwards) within a couple weeks of use.

The seat is a good product, but the level of service around the seat remains the same. It tends to be VS 3 and 4 on the JFK LHR route, as noted, but last week I flew to Newark and was very surprised to see the suite on that flight, so I imagine Virgin are switching it around a little.

The marketing idea that the new suites will take away old Concorde fliers from BA First doesn't make sense though, given that though the seat is fine it's a solidly business class product. I think anyway.
