adrian32 commented a couple of days ago...as far as I remember...take the lifts down to the train, but don't board. Instead follow the signs for the A gates and you'll toddle back to T5A

He mentioned (again from my memory) that originally it WAS a pain to get back from B, but now it's a relatively easy thing, and "permission" or escort is not required.
