What is the best 767 business class product to Europe? Best as in leg room, seat width, quality of service, etc.? The reason I ask this question is that while there are some excellent 777 prices to Euro in biz (UAL and AA), they are at akward times for connections. The 767s have more flights and better connection options - but are they that bad? I have read very few positive reviews of 767 biz service to Europe.

Also, which ones should be avoided? FF mileage is not worth it to me if I have to suffer to 8 hours over and 9 1/2 back. I have flown Delta's 767 service from ATL to CDG and wasn't impressed.

I noticed that many airlines charge out the nose for 777 travel while they price their 767 at a lower point. Exception being AA and UAL (which are both flirting with extinction).

Examples during March (according to Expedia):

Delta: A 777 from ATL to LGW is $7,822.96 while a 767 from JFK to LGW is $2,930.90.

KLM: A 777 from JFK to AMS is $5,971.71 while a 767 from EWR to AMS is $2,699.71.

I know that Delta prices high out of their hub in Atlanta, NWA prices high out of DTW and AA prices high out of DFW. But why do they generally run their 777s out of their hubs and 767s out of JFK/EWR? I assume they expect great traffic at their hubs and can fill the planes. But ....
