Have the record locator.
Explain you bought the ticket in Hong Kong.
Ask for help.
Your flight had a time change that no longer meets your needs.
You must be in LA earlier then the new flight arrives.
Can you please change me to an earlier flight.
Having the same flight number has nothing to do with it.
