I can't see why they won't let you use it if it is open. It is called a Clubhouse, not a departure lounge

and as it is landside I don't see a problem. As you say, it could be policy, but smile sweetly, and be v polite I'm sure those nice people on the reception desk will let you in.

It is a great place to spend some time, not as good as the LHR one though. I only wish VS would open one at LAX but, sigh . . .
