Yeah, I totally get the Companion Fare thing.

I guess I'm asking what happens without Companion Fare. If I book an MVPG in a Value fare bucket with U-class available *and* I also book (in the same PNR) a non-elite status passenger in the Value fare bucket... can that non-elite status get upgraded to FC?

Sorry if I'm being unclear or if I'm not understanding...
