The Virgin Revivals lounge is ultra-efficient, and have a list of all the passengers they are expecting off flights each day. Passengers are given an invitation to Revivals when they check in for their flight. The actual reason for this is because Revivals want to make sure your limo or other onward journey can be organised while you're showering or having breakfast. The downside for you will be that they'll be keen to see your invitation to check it on their list.

They've also only recently been tightening up the restrictions on entry, so the chances of a 'wave through' are slimer if at all.

The basic rule is if your ticket is VS coded and you were booked into Upper Class (not a free upgrade) or you're a Gold Card holder then you can get in. Sadly no other plastic or ticket type will cut the mustard.
