ButcherBird, whilst I agree that YSRI or YSBK *could* have been used, looking at what actually happened - the death of a former head of state, his funeral that required high level Australian government representation, and that he was a Muslim (which requires burial as soon as possible after death) meant that the funeral was laid on with little or no notice, I don't actually have a problem with this movement being allowed.

What I DP have a problem with is that DC-9 freighters are allowed to operate during curfew - see this link - whilst a much quieter (by several orders of magnitude) A380/A330 CAN"T operate during curfew, this to me it truely bizarre.
