OK, I have another trip to Europe coming up in 10 days, with a return on May 5. Since nwa.com directs all questions about meals to the DL web site, I assume that the menus for BE listed there now apply to NW TATL flights. Is that correct? Will Michelle Bernstein offer me one of her signature dishes on the way to AMS from MSP??

And more importantly, what are the second meal services like these days? Eastbound, NW cut back long ago to a paltry breakfast offering prior to arrival in AMS. What is the new offering with BE service? And westbound, the NW "European cold meat and cheese plate" was enough to make one want to gag! What is the new BE version of this?

When NW did their cutbacks, it was enough to make me seek out KL flights to/from Europe whenever possible. KL still offers a hot breakfast pre-arrival and a hot snack option prior to arrival in the US. What is the new DL/NW version of these second meal services?
