I have been to this Hilton several times - on conferences and privately. I have organised personally two conferences there and the conference service to us was 100%. We had about 100 attendees each time and all of them more than happy.

The fact that the hotel is far away from city centre was actually found very beneficial both by organisers as well as attendees - we were not missing people on sessions and people were not tempted to skip sessions for sightseeing.

When there was time to go to city, it was simple as 1,2,3. Public transport in Luxembourg is efficient a cheap. I tried to drive to the city ones and would never ever do it again.

So, to make my point - being outside of the city is not always minus. it can also be big plus. I for one tend to stay away from centres as much as I can.
