If you get a Eurail pass you can just wander freely. How long do you have?

Mr Falconea and I are only just back from 2 months of travelling around via Eurailpass. We visited Norway, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Holland and Belgium in that time, basing ourselves in Düsseldorf, where I have family. In the 2 months we spent 187 hours on trains and covered more than 17,000 km.
