but, if you don't mind a bit of "former glory" shabiness the Othons can present real bargains. I stayed at one last year (? Lancaster Othon) and had a front beach-facing room with balcony and that fantastic Copocabana view for under $US100 - wouldn't get that from one of the international chains for less than $US250-300.
