Funny you should mention this.

I received a call a few days ago from someone else at the Ambassador program, who was patient in trying to reach me (with all of my travel) and then very thorough in explaining what may have gone wrong in my case, how they've addressed it, and asking me to stay in the program. I've since been assigned a new Ambassador, which they hadn't done for anyone before.

The good news is that apparently my experience was an anomaly, even with the Ambassador I'd originally been assigned. I was told the Ambassadors have been drawn from the ranks of the Platinum Concierges and represent the best.

So I'll give this another shot. ^ I just hope my travel takes me back to spending more time in areas where there are Starwood properties.

My thanks to Lurker II for helping the Ambassador program connect the dots (with my okay) between "Seattlenerd" and my identity in the program. All in all, this has been a great customer service experience for me in how an initially rocky start was handled, even if I did understand that this was a trial program (with learning required on the sides of both Starwood and the customer) and I may not have been the ideal target customer, due to my current travel patterns.
