Myself and a colleague have both tried unsucessfully to use the onboard powerpoints to power our laptops - got a feeling it was on an Airbus 600, but couldn't be certain.

Anyway, neither of our laptops were able to take advantage of the power sockets, as the supplied wattage was insufficient for the power supply's.

We've got run-of-the-mill Dell and Compaq laptops and were surprised that we couldn't get the onboard power to give us what we needed. Anyone else have this problem?
