You're definitely right on the mark. As a former airline employee (Passenger Service Sup), it used to always make laugh when I'd see a depart time of xx:59 ... or an arrival time of xx:01

How ridiculous that an airline would even pretend that they could operate with such precision when weather and ATC and any number of other forces can and do affect flying times.
