I tried to apply for this offer today. The WWW site rejected my application, as my prior address was in the US (it only accepts UK postcodes). I duly called the 0800 number listed on the referring Virgin page, and was told that they could not honor the offer by telephone as it was posted on a WWW site. Has anyone encountered this conundrum before, and if so, how did you resolve the situation?
