This would have been so very helpful today. I had a "legal" 31 minute cnx in IAH from a CRJ term B (we have all done this) to terminal E. We all know that if the CRJ is even 5 minutes late, this is almost impossible esp with waiting for a gate checked bag on the CRJ.

I went to the originating airport early enough to catch another IAH flight that would give me about 75 minutes more connect time. However, I went in mortal fear that I would be hit with the $25 SDC fee--so I went to the gate instead of the counter.
