So how come todays Q 737's are better on domestic routes ? I still think todays Q flights on domestic are terrible because the seats are too small and once you seat down your very tight on everything not like the 767's but dont take my word thats only just my opinion last time i travel.
B767 are used extensively on routes in the domestic market, they are by far used more domestically than international - compared with a B747 which is exclusively international.

The seat pitch (distance from the cushion to the back of the seat in front) and width are the same on the 767 and the 737 so whilst you may perceive there is more personal space, there actually isn't (some seats do vary, of course)

In 2002, there would have been different seats and interior than there is today, so your feeling might not be the same now.

Unfortunately it's not about which planes people prefer, it's about which ones are the most efficient for the routes and passenger/cargo that they carry.
