This is really like a bump, as this thread just seems to get burried.

It is about such a useful feature that I can't let it die. Since NW and DL have this and we are still SkyTeam at the moment I am on the edge of my chair for implementation.

This would have been so very helpful today. I had a "legal" 31 minute cnx in IAH from a CRJ term B (we have all done this) to terminal E. We all know that if the CRJ is even 5 minutes late, this is almost impossible esp with waiting for a gate checked bag on the CRJ.

I went to the originating airport early enough to catch another IAH flight that would give me about 75 minutes more connect time. However, I went in mortal fear that I would be hit with the $25 SDC fee--so I went to the gate instead of the counter. Agent at gate was very nice and did it without an explanation of any of the above, just as a courtesy, no add collect. I just bet the ticket counter would have been a different story.

So Scott, don't add to the drama in our lives, see if you can find anyone who will be interested in speeding this along!
