I haven't tried to do it with FlyNow, but I'm hoping to do the reverse on Monday evening - change from DL metal to a NW flight.

However, I have had success multiple times with showing up at the airport though booked on DL flights and had the "new" DL switch me to a NW flight. I don't think they even have to do a B.U.M.P. anymore to do that.
