Thought of asking the question in this forum? Even the QC enquiry staff have been known to get things wrong (I know from experience!) - forewarned is forearmed. There is a vast amount of experience here and, when you finally get to speak to the right dept, if you have an issue and know what should be happening, you can then ask that the issue be addressed in the correct manner.
Frustrating I know, not great customer service (I find it strange that Qantas can open a multi-million "Service Excellence Centre" but have no means of actually delivering that) and certainly something QF should be addressing when the choice of carrier are ever increasing.
