I don't know where AEX Travel got their stats, but in terms of weather I am hoping our severe (read tornado) season will have peaked by June 9. Having been in MSP the last two years, I feem comfortable getting around.

However, the big seller for me is that I would surely have no one beside me MSP-AMS and I would be in 2C so I can really enjoy the ride with all the extra space to enjoy and maybe an extra dessert.

Although the MEM connection leaves OKC 2 hours earlier, both MEM and MSP take the same flight into EDI so the layover in AMS on the outbound is that much longer. However my return layover in AMS from IST is awful - almost 6 hours - but no way to avoid on this open jaw and another reason I want to get all I can on the outbound.

The only NW/DL medal out of OKC to anywhere are RJs. I can manage the longer ride on the outbound to say MSP but wanted MEM on the return in part to shorten time on the RJ after the return flight.

And although I absolutely love MEM bbq, I am medically forbidden this delicate fruit of the vine for now.
